office space, lunch room, display areas and conference rooms.

Cooper B-Line, a leading
manufacturer of quality support systems and enclosures for the
mechanical, electrical and telecommunications industry is
headquartered in Highland, Illinois.
Since moving to its Highland location in 1969, the company’s
tremendous success and growth had left their headquarters
operation bursting at the seams.
In order to accommodate their need for additional office
space, Cooper B-Line chose Korte & Luitjohan to add a
two-story 16,000 square foot addition to their headquarters in
Highland. In spite of the wettest, and one of the coldest
winters on record, the project was completed in eight months
and under budget.
The 18’ overall height of the addition posed special
challenges in placing the mechanical, electrical and plumbing
needs into the ceiling area.
