Major Components: Interior renovations and finishes, new
14,000 sq. ft. classroom and cafeteria additions

Owner: Dupo Community School District 196, Dupo, Illinois
In May of 2002, Korte & Luitjohan
commenced on the new cafeteria and classrooms addition, as
well as interior renovations of the existing Jr. High School
and two gymnasiums which included interior floor, wall
finishes and acoustical ceilings. As the General Contractor,
Korte & Luitjohan coordinated the work of over 20
subcontractors.
The addition took place during the regular school schedule
with minimal interruption to operations of the existing
facility, and also provided for an uninterrupted school year.
