In December of 1999 Korte &
Luitjohan took on the assignment of building the YMCA
Recreation and Fitness Center serving O’Fallon, Illinois.
Korte & Luitjohan coordinated the work of over thirty
subcontractors and suppliers to bring this project in on time
and within budget.
The new Recreational Center has a swimming pool at one end and
an aerobics room and basketball courts on the other.
An elevated 441 lineal foot track spans the length of the
facility and overlooks the gymnasium floor and aerobics room.
Handicap-accessible and family-style bathrooms compliment the
Olympic sized pool and standard locker rooms.
