Accounts Payable Clerk

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for accurately processing, recording, and maintaining financial data related to project expenses, supplier invoices, and subcontractor payments. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely payments and maintaining accurate job cost records.
We’re looking for someone who is organized, performs with a high level of accuracy, easily navigates between projects, meets deadlines, and collaborates with others to resolve issues.

This is a full-time, hourly position. Salary range is $18 to $25 per hour.

Qualifications Required:

• Two years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
• Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of accounting principles
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well with vendors and team members

Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Korte & Luitjohan Contractors of Highland is looking for someone who is a problem solver with a strong attention to detail to be a Heavy Equipment Mechanic in our shop.

Our Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for safely diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining construction vehicles and equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, brake, fuel, and HVAC systems. This role ensures equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting safe and efficient job site operations. You will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling/disassembling components and servicing a variety of construction equipment.

This is a full-time, hourly position. Salary range is $23 to $29 per hour.

Qualifications Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Minimum three years’ experience in repairing/servicing heavy equipment
• Strong knowledge of diagnostics and repair of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Commitment to safety
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams, and to operate electronic diagnostic tools
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, bending, and kneeling
• Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred:

• ASE Certification
• HVAC Certification
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
