Korte & Luitjohan Contractors, Inc. is looking for an experienced Fleet Mechanic to join our team!

Our FLEET MECHANIC is responsible for safely diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining construction vehicles and equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, brake, fuel, and HVAC systems. You will weld, fabricate, and assemble/disassemble components as required. You will also be estimating labor hours and parts needed for repairing equipment. This role ensures equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting safe and efficient job site operations.

Strong knowledge of diagnostics and repair of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems; the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams; and experience operating electronic diagnostic tools are required.

A high school diploma or GED equivalent, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record are required. Three years’ experience or more to qualify for the position. You must be able to lift 75lbs or more and perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, bending, and kneeling. 

ASE Certification, HVAC Certification, and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are preferred.

Salary Range: $32 – $38/hour (based on experience and training)

Schedule: Full-time
