Building Community Together
Korte & Luitjohan Contractors, Inc. supports a variety of charitable groups and causes each year. We are perhaps best known for our partnership with Camp Ondessonk, located in the Shawnee National Forest, which offers a variety of summer camp and program opportunities to youth. K&L’s founder, Pete Korte, served on the Camp’s board from 1995 to 2002. He was instrumental in launching Camp Ondessonk’s annual golf benefit in 1995. K&L also participates in several touch-a-truck events each year, where we hand out toy construction helmets and coloring books to kids. We also offer our Construction Time story hour program free of charge to area libraries and schools. K&L employees can often be found on the links playing in golf tournaments that benefit several groups. You can also find our employees volunteering in their home communities.
If your not-for-profit organization has a special request, please contact us for consideration.
“Thank you so much for coming out and reading to the kids! I was blown away by how prepared you were and the fun extras you provided - like the construction name tags and getting to try on the gear! I know the kids had so much fun!”
